The standard way to copy Wii games is to use a modification chip (mod chip), or to modify your Wii gaming system by splitting it and inserting a new chip. However, this is an extremely complicated process and voids the warranty on your Wii gaming system. It's not recommended. Read on to find out how to back up your $50 games by burning a disc instead.
3>Insert the Wii disc you wish to copy (or specify the downloaded game file) into your computer's CD or DVD drive, and click copy. The program will un-encode the protection in the Wii game. This copies the data from the Wii game onto your hard drive. It will take about 30 minutes or so.
4>Insert a blank DVD into your computer. Let the program copy the Wii game onto the blank disc. Burn discs at very low speeds (2-8X) to ensure the Wii can read it.
* Play the Game
Now that the game is copied, you need a way to play it without installing a mod chip.
5>Download and install the latest Wii Unlock Hack. This will allow you to play backup, copied, import, and retro games, plus DVDs, on your Nintendo Wii without a modchip.
6>Insert the DVD you burned into the Wii and play.
